LDNA Secreatary Adam Jensen represented LDNA at the 14th Annual Volunteer Recognition Night held by Lowell Police Department.
The ceremonty recognizes the Lowell Police Auxiliary, Lowell Police Volunteers, and Lowell community members who work in partnership with the police department.

Clean-Up Day

There were some really hard-working people out Saturday. Great thanks to everyone!
Some neighbors who have been her for awhile…

And some wonderful students from UML made their way all along the Riverwalk and Lucy Larcom Park…

And some neighbors who have not even moved in yet. Steve Carlin
Park Supervisor, MA Dept. of Conservation and Recreation who will be moving into the Mack Building in June brought along a group of volunteers and made our little sanctuary The Victorian Garden as beautiful as it has ever been.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Ushering at Merrimack Repertory Theatre offers you the opportunity to helpsupport non-profit professional theatre in your community and earn great theatre-going benefits as well.
MRT’s usher corps helps to create awelcoming environment for its patrons by greeting guests, tearing tickets,passing out playbills, and serving concessions. Each of MRT’s 190performances needs about 10 volunteer ushers: 1 at will-call ticketpick-up,1 ticket taker, 2 at concessions, 2 in the orchestra to seat and pass outprograms, 2 in the balcony to seat and pass out programs, 1 to directpeopleto the restrooms, and 1 floater.
Ushering at MRT also makes a great group community service project for your church group, book club or serviceorganization. The dress code is black pants/skirts and white tops. Ushers are asked to commit to at least two performances per production. Ushers receive complimentary ticket vouchers to future performances in exchangefortheir service.

Victorian Garden

HUGE Thanks to my friend Richard who hauled his lawnmower downtown to cut the grass in the Victorian Garden. It looks fabulous!!!

Now if everyone can take a look in their “grannies garage” and see if you can find an old “push mower”…we can keep this nice all year.

Earth Day Clean-up

Saturday, April 25th, 8AM – 1 PM

This is the first of our annual city clean-up days.
Meet at Middlesex Community College Cafeteria, 33 Kearney Square for team assignments.
We will be cleaning along the canals and waterways.
